Rutgers Math Courses - Reasoning (thinking about the proof) and writing (formulating and writing the ideas precisely using logical statements). Together with the accelerated master of arts in teaching program, this selection of courses will enable students to obtain new jersey instructional certificates to teach secondary school mathematics in five years. In addition to the basic requirements, mathematics majors and minors can choose from a wide array of course electives and specialized options.
